April Fools Fest (Triple Crown)

The Mac-N-Seitz Indians 11s started their 2011 campaign just the way they finished 2010 - by going undefeated and winning the tournament.

After a long winter, some of the rust was removed as the Indians went 5-0, outscoring their opponents 53-6. The highlight game for the Indians was in the semi-finals against one of Iowa’s top teams, the Grand Slam Mudcats. The Mudcats gave the Indians a wakeup call by leading off the top of the first with 2 runs. Steady hitting and strong defensive play pushed the Indians to a 12-2 victory. 

The Indians closed out the Championship with a hard fought game against the vastly improved MNS Red Sox, 5-1. While it will be difficult to duplicate the 41-2 record they established in 2010, the Indians hope to move up the rankings chart by playing against some of the top teams in the country.
